Sasha Luss stars as the eponymous assassin in this action thriller written and directed by Luc Besson. While living an impoverished life in Moscow, Anna Poliatova (Luss) is scouted by KGB recruiter Alex Tchenkov (Luke Evans) and trained as an assassin. Working undercover as a model in Paris, under the watchful eye of her handler Olga (Helen Mirren), Anna is approached by the CIA to become a double agent and kill the head of the KGB, Vassiliev (Eric Godon), in exchange for her freedom.
